Spring Farm Day

We are busy getting ready to welcome our community into our farm this coming Saturday, April 27! Preparing for events is no small feat, but the feeling at the end of the day when we have gotten to talk to so many people, teach them about sheep and wool, hang out with our vendors and friends, and (hopefully) sell some products, makes it all worth it.

Our vendor line up this time is stellar – coffee, flowers, pottery, crochet, aprons, bath salts, chow chow, macrame… and so much more!!! Bring along your coolers to stock up on some local meats, breads, and desserts.

All but two of our ladies have lambed. The level of baby sheep cuteness is overwhelming. And of course there is always Rarity – our special sheep that doesn’t quite understand she is a sheep. She cannot wait to get some love! Swing by the barn and say hello to Emma, maybe get a photo with one of the ladies, and learn all things sheep related.

If you are preparing to join us, here are a few tips: We are a working farm, so closed toes shoes are a good idea. I wish we could get rid of all the fire ants, but alas… thus is life in South Carolina. We also suggest bug spray and sunscreen. Also, please no outside animals. We have more than enough here for you to get to enjoy.
