2017 …. I’m still shaking my head at how it’s already coming to a close.  I’m typically not one for New Years Resolutions.  But the speed with which 2017 flew by along with how often it feels like I’m being dragged along by life has brought me to a theme for 2018:  Live Intentionally.  Too often I find myself taking the easy way out and with ample excuses – letting the kids watch way too much tv because I’m worn out from work and don’t want to deal.  Buying fast food because it’s cheap and easy.  Buying things we don’t need because it makes me feel good.  And most of these “easy” choices are completely out of line with the lifestyle we have chosen in living here on Baker Farm.  So for 2018 my hope is to live intentionally; to make decisions with thought, with family, with myself and the farm in mind.  To chose to take advantage of the moments and of the place we are lucky to have to their fullest.  To clean out the clutter and concentrate on the important.  Bring it on 2018!!
